WHO WE ARE
Since 1970, Credit Counselling Service of Durham Region (CCSDR) has been providing practical assistance and guidance to people with debt and money management problems in Durham Region. Our services are available for families and individuals from all age groups, cultures and income levels.
CCSDR is a non-profit, registered charitable organization and a member agency of the United Way of Ajax Pickering Uxbridge. A volunteer Board of Directors, reflective of the region we serve, governs our service. CCSDR is registered and licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Government Services.
CCSDR is an accredited member of the Ontario Association of Credit Counselling Services (OACCS) and a member of Credit Counselling Canada (CCC).
We are often asked who our clients are and the typical response is to tell them to look in their mirror for essentially they are our clients. By saying that, we mean a client in need of the services we provide can come from virtually any walk of life, economic situation, cultural, or religious background.
